Designated Driver Booth Volunteer Instructions
Volunteers will enter Turner Field via the Pollard Street employee entrance. You will meet the TEAM Leader at the entrance where you will receive an event day badge and then proceed to where the booth is located.
Gates open 2½ hours before game time (example: 7:05 game - gates open at 4:35pm) Please arrive 30 minutes before gates open (example: 7:05 game - gates open at 4:35pm - arrive 4:00) when volunteering. If you work a job that will not allow you to be there by this time you must arrive by 5:30pm.
Parking is limited and volunteers are responsible for their own parking.
Volunteers will be staffing the booths through the end of the second inning; at that time we will close the booth and you will be allowed to enjoy the rest of the game as a spectator. We are NOT guaranteed a seat for any event. Though it unusual we would not be able to stay for a game, we have had one instance in the programs 12-year history that volunteers were sent home after closing the booth. Those volunteers were given tickets for another event.
Volunteers will be required to wear either a TEAM Georgia Designated Driver t-shirt or a Braves supplied game shirt during the time the booth is open.
