Georgia Dome Philips Arena Turner Field Gwinnett Center Gwinnett Braves Stadium

As a strong partner to the teams and associations at these venues, there are many other opportunities to contribute to such a worthwhile cause. Please Contact Us for more details or any questions that you might have.

The Arena at Gwinnett Center
Designated Driver Booth Volunteer Instructions
Volunteers should come through security located at the back of the building. Park in any area walk to the front of the arena, go past the entrance to side of building, go down sidewalk to security. Please arrive 30min prior to the gates opening. (gates open 1½ before event starts) You will sign in with security and receive a badge and a meal coin. You will then proceed to the freight elevator located down the hall to the left from security. Take the elevator to the concourse level and proceed around to the booth located at the main entrance to the arena. Volunteers should encourage patrons to register to be a Designated Driver (not to drink and drive). There is to be no loud "hawking" of free drinks or free tickets. This aspect of the program should be explained to individuals as they sign up. When They Sign In:

  1. Each person signing up will receive a coupon for a free non-alcoholic beverage. These tickets are limited to one person per party. They may not sign up multiple people in order to receive extra tickets.
  2. Make sure they complete the sheet.
  3. Call a Taxi for any intoxicated person who approaches you and needs a ride home. A Taxi phone number is with the TEAM Georgia materials. If the person is out of control, quietly call for security.
  4. After the first period intermission for sporting events and the first 30 minutes of all other events, the TEAM Leader will collect the signed pledge sheets. Make sure all other Designated Driver materials (banner, buttons, etc…) have been collected and returned to our supply area.
  5. At this time, the Team Leader will contact box office personnel to secure the TEAM Georgia volunteer(s) tickets for the event. Volunteers will then receive their seat assignment.
