Programs

The Designated Driver Booths, located at the Georgia Dome, Philips Arena, Gwinnett Arena, and Turner Field, TEAM Georgia's Designated Driver Booth encourage the use of a designated driver when attending sporting, music and cultural events. Since the Designated Booth began, 214,292 people have registered to serve as a Designated Driver and received information on impaired driving and Georgia's DUI laws. Also, our esteemed spokesperson groups are Peter Konz -Atlanta Falcons, Al Horford -Atlanta Hawks.

The Designated Skipper Program, a public education effort to take the rules of the road to Georgia's most popular and populated waterways. Now in its seventh season, the Designated Skipper Program urges boat operators to pledge not to drink on the water and distributes boating tips along Georgia's premier waterways. TEAM GA member and Olympic Gold Medalist Steve Lundquist has been the campaign's spokesperson since it's inception.

The Public Service Messages at Turner Field, TEAM GA spokesperson and Atlanta Braves star Kelly Johnson delivers a winning message for TEAM GA. Johnson appears in a TEAM GA PSA viewed by hundreds of thousands of fans, encouraging safe and sober driving choices. There is also an alcohol awareness night on TEAM GA night with The Atlanta Braves.

The Safe Boating Program, takes the rules of the road to Georgia's most popular and populated waterways. TEAM Georgia partners with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and other corporate participants to take this initiative afloat. Now approaching its tenth year, the Safe Boating Program urges boat operators to pledge not to drink on the water and distribute boating safety tips along Georgia's premier waterways.

The Safe Holiday Campaign, a metro-wide program to unite Atlanta employers, members of the hospitality community ad restaurants and bars in encouraging safe and responsible holiday celebrations. Last year, more than 200 local bars and restaurants participated in the campaign, while more than 30,000 Safe Holiday corporate guides were distributed through the Metro Atlanta chamber of commerce, AAA Auto Club South, the Georgia State Patrol and Atlanta's entertainment venues.

The Safe Prom and Graduation Program, Each spring, TEAM GA in partnership with The Governor's Office of Highway Safety in developing a media and collateral campaign for all public and private high school students, encouraging responsible choices during the annual season of school celebrations.

The Seat Belt Program, As one of the state's most active advocates for seat belt use, TEAM GA works in partnership with national and state highway safety officials to support Georgia's Primary Seat Belt Law and encourage habitual seat belt and child safety seat use.
